What kind of adventurer are you?
I grew up camping, I thrive in nature, I live off memories of exploring nature. The adventure spirit is within me every time I leave the house, be it grocery shopping or an expedition, I know that it is my attitude that turns that time into a real adventure. I am someone who is not afraid to pick unknown roads, start a conversation with a local, climb up the tree, highest peak, sleep under stars. I find pleasure and treasure in the smallest things that others usually walk by and ignore, be it mushrooms, flowers, little creatures, moss, rock formations, or other little natural art objects.
What do you expect from the trip?
I want to experience this trip like I usually do, full of energy and no expectations. My personal intention is to connect with people on a deep level, challenge myself, see how I can adapt to the new environment, test myself and my abilities to be a leader, share my love for nature with the world and fellow adventurers.
What do you have respect for?
I have respect for nature. It teaches us everything we need in life, it is always there for us, no matter how we treat it, we need to show our planet more respect than we currently do, and do more to protect those beautiful corners of the world.
How will you cope with difficult situations?
I am very much into mindfulness, breathwork, meditation; yoga is my way to connect to myself and gain an ability to overcome challenging situations. I use nature to help me as well, little things like hugging trees, touching plants and grass are my sensory pleasures. Listening to birds singing, wind and another natural sounds let me escape from what is going on in my head and remind me that if I manage to control my reactions the challenge usually resolves itself.
What role will you play in the #GOBACKPACK team?
I would give myself a role of a Nature Weirdo or Entertainer
